I can't reproduce this. Could you give a URL.

I also get this error, and it happens when I try to drag an attachment from an email located remotely my IMAP account onto, say, the Windows Desktop. I don't think the extension nor the MIME type affect this behaviour (so, it doesn't have to be specifically an image). I have observed three types of activities:
1) Where the message is shown, and the attachment does not download;
2) Where the message is shown, and the attachment downloads after clicking OK;
3) Where the attachment downloads as expected.
I experience (2) most often.

I have experienced this for the 2.x series; currently I have 2.0.0.4 (20070604) on Windows XP (build 2600) Service Pack 2.0
Sorry, disregard the previous message .. this was intended for Thunderbird (I thought I was searching for Thunderbird bugs).
As I reported, this does not always happen. The same image could show this bug, then not show it. The actual image/server is not relevant.
Confirming based on a post on mozillazine describing this same behavior.

Not reproducible in windows-XP with latest nightly. Closing this as works for me.
If anyone can still reproduce it, feel free to reopen the issue and provide more information. Thanks
