It uses TrueVector security engine. During startup of Firefox 2.0.0.4 TrueVector driver crashes and needs a restart. I used Firefox v.2.0.0.2 before and got this problem after update to v.2.0.0.4. OS - Windows XP Professional SP2. These are reports from Event Log: Faulting application vsmon.exe, version 4.0.146.29, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x0001142e. Faulting application vsmon.exe, version 4.0.146.29, faulting module vsruledb.dll, version 4.0.146.29, fault address 0x00019efc. TrueVector driver: Data thread killed. TrueVector engine: File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\IAMDB.RDB" was corrupt and has been copied to "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\xDB74.tmp". File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\IAMDB.RDB" was corrupt and has been deleted. TrueVector engine: File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\IAMDB.RDB" was corrupt, restoring from backup "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\BACKUP.RDB". TrueVector engine: File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\VLADOSHA.ldb" was corrupt and has been copied to "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\xDB75.tmp". I don't use ZoneAlarm anymore. Additionally I use Windows Vista :) FireFox works fine!

Closing old bugs in the Plugins component. We aren't going to track issues in 3rd-party plugins in the Mozilla bug tracker. In addition, support for NPAPI plugins will be removed at the end of this year; for more details see the post at https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2015/10/08/npapi-plugins-in-firefox/ If there is a serious bug in Firefox, it needs to be filed in the "Core" product, "Plug-Ins" component.
