Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 After clicking "done" when customizing the toolbar the customizing window stays on the page. The web page is still functional (i can refresh, go to another page etc..) but the customizing window is blocking 3/4 of the firefox window. This is a recent problem because i used to be able to customize my toolbar. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.right click toolbar and click customize... 2.window appears and you are able to add/remove whatever you want 3.click "done" Actual Results: The customizing window remains blank on the page after clicking "done". My other toolbars (top and side ones) are inactive. I can use the newly added toolbar actions like "clear cache" or "add tab" but the customizing window is on the page blocking 3/4 of it. It is also blank. Expected Results: the window should have disappeared so i could continue browsing. it also should have saved the changes of the new toolbar. bug still occurs in default theme, in every theme actually. my computer is completely up to date on all necessary software (java, software update...). I tries right clicking the toolbar again after clicking "done" but the "customize..." is greyed out and i can't click it, as if it is currently being used.

Is this reproducible in a new firefox profile? - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_manager
I just checked in a new profile and it works fine now.
If it works in a new profile, then I would suspect the problem you are seeing is due to a theme, extension or user setting. Can you please try disabling your extensions one by one until the problem goes away, and then letting us know what extension caused your problem? thanks!
Youre right, the problem is the "all in one sidebar" extension. When it is disabled the problem goes away. Should i let them know?
Yes, please let them know about this problem. Because the problem is due to an extension, I will mark this bug INVALID for the moment. However, you should mention this bug number to the All-in-1 sidebar people, as they may discover the problem is in fact due to firefox, and so they can reopen it if necessary. Thanks!

Actually, since we already have an AIOS breaks customization bug that nobody ever got around to triaging even to the extent of turning on javascript.options.showInConsole and seeing what error it throws, let's dupe this there.
