This is an issue in the preferences pane that bears the title
"Outgoing Server (SMTP) Settings". You can see it in attachment 266903 [details].
This problem appears in both Thunderbird and Seamonkey, IINM, and
therefore is a "core" bug, even though no Core component exists for
mailnews preferences. This appears in recent trunk builds.
I setup a new profile in SeaMonkey. I setup one email account, an IMAP
account. When I got all done, it all worked OK, but the prefs panel
named "Outgoing Server (SMTP) Settings" showed port 0.
I then went into the prefs panel where one sets the outgoing SMTP server
settings, where it appeared to be port 25, and changed it to another port.
Thereafter, it appeared correctly in the "Outgoing Server (SMTP) Settings"
panel.
Going into the prefs panel where outgoing SMTP server settings are set
(changed), and clicking OK, cured this, causing the number to

WORKSFORME with latest trunk(en-US locale) on MS Win-XP SP2, using profile created on 2007/4/06 by trunk.

Changing attachment name to "Screen shot of Bug 185662 is resolved". "Port 0" part is DUP of Bug 314861. Please change Bug 314861 to "Core" bug.

Thanks for noticing the dup. I guess I didn't find it because I didn't search Thunderbird bugs, since this is a core bug.
