This came from Hendrix feedback:

Comments:
if you go on the actual site (not the extension) the
first letter doubles when a note is selected
I can see this issue, but I haven't been able to make a testcase.
However, I know that a designMode iframe is supposed to be layered over the initial div containing the text. That designMode iframe now seems to be a bit offset to the right, causing a small part of the underlying div to be still visible (which is why you see a part of the character).
This regressed between 2006-03-08 and 2006-03-10:
http://bonsai.mozilla.org/cvsquery.cgi?treeid=default&module=all&branch=HEAD&branchtype=match&dir=&file=&filetype=match&who=&whotype=match&sortby=Date&hours=2&date=explicit&mindate=2006-03-08+04&maxdate=2006-03-10+09&cvsroot=%2Fcvsroot
I think a regression from bug 328881, somehow.

The iframe is absolutely positioned. In firefox 2, it's getting a left: 30px, which lines it up perfectly. In trunk, it's getting a left: 34px, which lines it up wrong. I don't know where the 30/34 are coming from. Forcing the 34 to 30 in the dom inspector makes it display well in trunk.
OS: Windows XP → All
Glad it's been reported. I use Google notebook a lot (not the extension, the actual notebook.google.com page) and this really bugs me. I can still work with it, but I've noticed this on both Fx 3 beta 5, and the 3.0pre.. here's the user string:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008043010 Minefield/3.0pre

I can confirm this issue on both Windows XP (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051206 Firefox/3.0)
and on Ubuntu Linux Hardy.

This still happening? Can we get a standalone testcase that reproduces the problem maybe?
