Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4
I got across a page that used \ inside the URL paths.
Look OK in IE6 (it translates the \ ito / so it works).
In Firefox neither images not sub-pages will show :-(
I know this is not a Firefox fault, but when web-authoring sofwtare used the wrong slash Firefox must be able to fix that as well, if not Firefox users will switch to IE because they think it's a FF fault.
The site is here: http://www.thelmas.no (test with both FF and IE)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the URL
2. Look a the page in FF (try menu pages)
3. Look a the page in IE and try the same

As you say Firefox is behaving according the the specifications here, it is up to web authors (and related software authors) to fix themselves to be compliant with the internationally recognised standard.
