User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070609 Firefox/2.0.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070609 Firefox/2.0.0.4

After prolonged (days) use Firefox will cause X to have a constant level of cpu use (last observed about 10% on my Athlon XP 2600 for example). Closing other running programs or waiting does not allow the X cpu use to go down. Exiting Firefox does. On restart the behavior does not occur.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Unknown how to reproduce but behavior observed more than once.

High CPU use appears to makes bug 263160 more likely to manifest. See comments 92-96.
