When you log in to flexcar with Camino, you get a screen that says:

Incompatible Browser

The reservation system has detected that your web browser is not compatible with the reservation system. Some web browsers do not support certain features that the reservation system needs in order to operate correctly.

Please try one of the alternatives listed for your operating system, below.
 
	Microsoft Windows
Choose one of these options to gain access to the reservation system:

    * Download and install the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    * Download and install the latest version of Mozilla Firefox.
    * Call the automated telephone reservation system at 1-877-FLEXCAR*, available 24 hours a day.

 
	Apple Macintosh
Choose one of these options to gain access to the reservation system:

    * Download and install the latest version of Apple Safari (requires Mac OS X).
    * Download and install the latest version of Mozilla Firefox (requires Mac OS X).
    * Call the automated telephone reservation system at 1-877-FLEXCAR*, available 24 hours a day.

 
	Linux
Choose one of these options to gain access to the reservation system:

    * Download and install the latest version of Mozilla Firefox (requires Linux i686).
    * Call the automated telephone reservation system at 1-877-FLEXCAR*, available 24 hours a day.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to www.flexcar.com
2. Enter account number and PIN and click Go button.
3.
Actual Results:  
You get a warning page with no option to skip.

Expected Results:  
You get the reservation pages.

Does Firefox work properly?

Does Camino work properly if you use

http://pimpmycamino.com/parts/user-agent

to spoof as Firefox?

If the answer to the above two questions (or even the first one) is "yes", this should block bug 334967 as well. I don't have an account so I can't investigate this any further, but I strongly suspect they're sniffing for "Firefox" rather than "Gecko".

Yes, Firefox works fine.
Yes, Camino works fine with the spoofed user agent.

Thanks, Ryan. I think it's safe to confirm this, then. Be sure not to keep the spoofing turned on; it has the potential to break some sites and more importantly, it makes it seem as though Camino doesn't exist.

Ryan, it would help a lot if you would send the site a letter too, pointing them to

and possibly following the general format of

http://www.mozilla.org/projects/tech-evangelism/site/tech-letter-en.html

as well.
