The Keychain is busted in 1.0.5 on 10.2 (bug 386506), so we need to provide a working EOL Camino to our 10.2 users, and include this release note.
• Camino no longer fails when users try to log-in on websites.

is the best I've been able to come up with so far :(
There will be a couple of other fixes, too.

Attached file draft relnotes (obsolete) —
smorgan landed everything (pre-minibranching) tonight; we're just waiting on Gecko 1.8.0.13 and for these relnotes to get approval.

draft relnotes

> All users on Mac OS X 10.2.8 are recommended to upgrade; all users of Mac
> OS X 10.3 or higher should upgrade to Camino 1.5 instead.

Is this text set in stone for translation purposes? If not, let's change it, because it's a little clear. The first clause doesn't make it clear that users should update to this version (1.0.6). The second should say 1.5.x or something instead of 1.5.

> Camino no longer fails to to log in to most websites on Mac OS X 10.2.8.

How about "Camino on Mac OS X 10.2.8 is once again able to log in to websites."?

We shipped it in 1.0.5 (since 1.0.5 was our first try at killing Gecko 1.8.0), but if it's not clear, we should fix it, especially when we want to use it as a reference (reuse it) in 1.6.final when we drop OS support again.

(It would mean two sentences to add/change instead of just one, plus the normal s/5/6/ and s/12/13/)

That seems more complex to me.
We agreed upon:

All users on Mac OS X 10.2.8 are recommended to upgrade to this version; all users of Mac OS X 10.3 or higher should upgrade to Camino 1.5.x instead.

When running on Mac OS X 10.2.8, Camino no longer fails to log in to most websites.

I found a small difference between the release notes of 1.5.1 and 1.0.6:
In 1.5.1 the about line says:
  About Camino® 1.5.1
In 1.0.6:
  About Camino 1.0.6
without the ®.

Should we add the ® to the 1.0.6 version or not?
Nah, we introduced the ® in the 1.5 release notes, we don't really need to track it all down (here and in the localized versions) for the older branch.

> All users on Mac OS X 10.2.8 are recommended to upgrade to this version; all

OK, I know this already got sr+, but it's horribly awkward. Can I suggest "This version is a recommended upgrade for all Mac OS X 10.2.8 users" instead?

Sorry I didn't get to this sooner but I was out of town.
I'm good with comment 9.
Checked in on the 1.8.0/1.0, 1.5, 1.8/1.6 branches, and the trunk. Made the active release notes on 1.8.0/1.0.
