User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20061201 Firefox/2.0.0.4 (Ubuntu-feisty) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20061201 Firefox/2.0.0.4 (Ubuntu-feisty) Opening the file directly works well, however saving the file leads to zero sized file placed to destination directory, with NO warning or other indice that something went wrong. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to the page 2.Click on any of the files 3.select "save as" from popup Firefox dialog and specify SMB network share as target destination 4.look at the downloaded file Actual Results: Zero sized file Expected Results: File correctly downloaded Downloading the file onto local drive works well. I think this bug has been introduced with Firefox 2.0 -I never met such problems with 1.5 series. The same with Debian's IceWeasel, and with mozilla's original Firefox package.
I swear I've seen this bug before...
