I was attempting to sell some items on eBay and I was unable to edit my text. After contacting eBay via Live Chat. After some troubleshooting we discovered the problem was with Firefox. The bar showed up perfectly fine in Internet Explorer and I remember it showing up in FireFox 2. According to eBay it is a JavaScript powered toolbar. JavaScript was enabled and I attempted to rectify the problem by clearing my cache and cookies to no avail. This has happened everytime I opened the selling window using Gran Paradiso. Other than this I have had no problems. Great job guys.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log into eBay. (This does require access to an account.)
2. Click sell tab.
3. Enter anything relating to a type of item then continue.
4. On this page there should be a field for Item Description. At the top of that field there is supposed to be a text formatting bar. It doesn't show up.
Actual Results:  
The bar never showed.

Expected Results:  
The JavaScript Powered format bar should have appeared.

Default theme was used. No modifications whatsoever.

This works great in Firefox 2, but unsurprisingly fails in any Gecko browser without "firefox" in the user-agent string.

Kicking to TE and blocking 334967.

Jason, please complain to eBay about this problem and point them to this bug. If they have any questions, I'm more than happy to help, as are our other TE folks.

Given that the reported issue is pre-FF3 (and we no longer have codenames in pre-production builds), going to close this as INVALID. Please reopen if there is still a problem--though I've sold through eBay recently without hitting the reported issue.
