I used to be able to tab to the "Create in" field and enter the first letter of a folder name to choose a top-level folder for a new bookmark.  That broke in recent Minefield builds.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Choose Bookmarks > Add This Page
2.  Press [Tab] to advance to "Create in" drop-down folder list
3.  Type the first letter(s) of a folder in this list
Actual Results:  
Nothing happens.

Expected Results:  
You should be able to select a top-level folder from the drop-down folder list by typing; it used to work and was very fast.

The workaround is to tab to the expander arrow and press [Enter] which opens a tree view in which you can type the first few letters to select a folder.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body   contains   places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
