38946 - painting problems with large lines of text

The two testcases contain a large line of text. One of them uses <PRE> and has
no repainting problem (that I can see...)

The other one has just one long word and depending on scrollbar position it is
possible to make it so that the text will not correctly paint.Moving scrollbar
just a little will enable the text to be repainted when window is exposed.

I have tested this on Linux. Will try on Windows tommorow.

If (on Linux) you encounter "black flashes" during horizontal scrolling, please
look at bug 28023 for a patch. That bug also has a similiar test case with same
painting problem but it crashes mozilla on windows (bug 38652).

Component set to "HTML Element". I am not sure if it is correct.

The text excessively flickers when scrolled.    
P.S.   Why use ZIP for the attachments?

The testcases are ZIPed due to size (1MB or so)

The problems is that in some positions of the scrollbar parts of the text
doesn't paint at all. The blinking is probably caused by that when you scroll it
fast.

I couldn't get this open on Windows in either Notepad, IE, or Mozilla. It's just 
too big. 

Anyway, flashing sounds like a problem for Kevin (or at least he'll know where 
to send this) but it's for sure not a plugin bug.
