390596 - Provide one lightning xpi file which works on all supported architectures

First of all, I must mention that I am using thunderbird 2.0.0.5 with the lightning addon 0.7pre. I am also using windows as well as linux (ubuntu) on the same machine. Every time I want to check my dates under one of these operating systems, I need to reinstall the lightning extensions in order to retreive my dates. 

Isn't it possible to build a one for all solution, so that the extension can be used under both systems with being reinstalled every time?

I do not fully understand what your problem is. Can you please elaborate!

Is your problem, that you want to access the same calendar data from your windows and your linux machine? That is possible, by exporting your current calendar data as an .ics file and putting that file on a local drive and subscribing to it.

That issue withstanding, please understand that bugzilla is a bug database, not a support tool. Please post support questions like this in the mozilla.support.calendar newsgroup or the Calendar forum on forums.mozillazine.org

So he switches the system and doesn't try to use the profile at the same time from two systems. Duping.
