Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070725 Firefox/2.0.0.6
My about:config setting for browser.display.show_image_placeholders is set to true, but I don't see place holders for unloaded images in pages like http://pidgin.im/win32
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a page with broken images
2. After the page finishes loading, the image placeholders will have disappeared, leaving the Alt text looking like inline text.
Expected Results:
I would expect to see the placeholders if my placeholder setting is set to true

Sorry if this was reported or if I missed info. I did a search and didn't see anything. Apparently the placeholders show up on something like https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=167513 (linked to from https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=272534 )
