This update (Windows XP, languageversion Danish) did not only delete all personal information, bookmarks, autofills etc. in Firefox. It also deleted all account data in Thunderbird (2.0.0.6 for Windows XP, languageversion Danish).
I started out with Thunderbird 2.0.0.6 a ew weeks ago and then updated Firefox to the same version number. After this update and a restart - with no other software updates at the time - all personal data from both apps were gone.
Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce
Steps to Reproduce:
I kept hold on Firefox 2.0.0.6 and Thunderbird 2.0.0.6. Did not see any use in deleting the apps and downloading again.
I rebuilt my favorite bookmarks (quite a few hours of work I must admit) and luckily did not loose them since then.
Actual Results:
New bookmarks does work fine, but password recognition and autofills does not work at all.
Expected Results:
I have to fill in all kinds f passwords and adresses manualy for each visited website.
Obvious ...

Maybe a matter of Bug 193749 ?
In order to make passwords and autofill work again you probably need to delete the files signons2.txt and key3.db (passwords) and formhistory.dat (form information) in your profile. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Signons.txt
First make a screenshot of your passwords if you still can see them in the Remember Passwords window.
For further advice on this see http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38
