Details

Automatically update and start slaves on restart. Depending on task, may be undesireable to automatically startup particular masters and/or slaves (e.g., baselining).

May depend on work done for unittest farm bugs, 393411, 393418, and 393290.

The start slaves on boot portion of this is done on all platforms. The updating portion will be done as part of bug 491298, bug 486614, and bug 486615 (software deployment solutions for each platform). I don't think this bug serves any purpose anymore. Feel free to re-open if someone disagrees.
