User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070725 Firefox/2.0.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070725 Firefox/2.0.0.6 Some site's that I go to regulary I get a 404 error "Firefox cannot find page". These sites include, but are not limited to Facebook, Digg, and my school e-mail account. There is no pattern that I can see. I click to refresh and then it almost always reloads the page without the 404 error. I checked my internet but i was always connected. Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Are these sites working 100% of the time with say, IE? Are other non-Microsoft products working (some firewalls ban all but MS programs from communicating) What firewall (if any), operating system, etc, are you using? I'm just trying to elimate any of the usual suspects. It may very well just be a temporary problem with your ISP.
This most probably isn't Firefox related, but network related. I surf to sites such as Digg etc. all the time using Firefox and i've got no probs at all. Maybe the reporter should check for service outages at his ISP. Anyway, WFM.
Bug marked as invalid, due to the fact that it is probably a network issue, and not a problem within Firefox.
