This is spun off from bug 371279.
We should have:
- labelled-by relation for the find bar label
- described-by relation on the find bar description
- description change events when the description (find status) changes
Not sure if any of these are critical for FF3.

BTW, I put this bug in "core" instead of "Firefox" because it's an issue with the core findbar component.

(REOPENING)
Hi Jamie,
It seems that we don't update the description when we type in the text box to find.
What do you think about description change events, or would a live region work in this case?
Thanks !

descriptionChange events would certainly work here. That said, can you give me some idea of what sort of text appears in that description? I see "Phrase not found" if i type something that's not on the page, but I haven't been able to make it display anything else. For a message like that, a role of alert and an alert event on the description might be more appropriate (with no describedBy relation), but if it displays other messages, alert might not suit.
My gut feeling is that a live region doesn't fit here.
Thoughts, Mick?
