BTW, are we planning to call this folder "extensions"/"Extensions", or will we instead use some name that doesn't imply that XUL/XPI extensions suddenly work in Camino?

Are these new folders going to be used for containing gecko (js and/or xul) extensions that we want to use?

Pushing this off to 2.0 for more thought, per the meeting; we don't want to undermine the new security model (or open ourselves up to holes Apple closed), and since IMs are still functional in 10.5, this is less pressing.

I still want to do this, but it's not going to happen for 2.0 either I'm afraid.

This bug has been buried in the graveyard and has not been updated in over 5 years. It is probably safe to assume that it will never be fixed, so resolving as WONTFIX.
