I am having consistent but random problems with this browser not loading up style sheets. Fonts and other settings do not load... on sites I develop (I am a web designer) or sites created by other people.

SINCE THERE WAS NO MENTION OF HOW TO REMOVE ONE'S "PROFILE" (ON THE MAIN BUG REPORT WEB PAGE) I HAVE RESORTED TO SUBMITTING THIS BUG. IT IS SUPER ANNOYING THAT THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS ABOUT THAT "REQUIRED STEP".

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to a random site
2. style sheets do not load
3. restart the page or reload the browser and SOMETIMES they reappear.


Expected Results:  
display the style sheets!

I'm pretty sure it's caused by the wrong MIME-type that is sent when the stylesheets are loaded. It should be text/css, see bug 182236. That's a common mistake while developing websites (and a CSS Validator will tell you that too)

But since you're not providing an example, we'll never know for sure. I hardly see an error myself, so I don't see why "go to a random site" would show this bug.

this is brand new problem as of a recent Firefox update. Its not just happening on sites I develop, but all kinds of sites across the web, so thats why I assume there is an actual bug with this version of the browser. I've probably seen it happen about 30 or 40 times now. But its all very random... no pattern that I can detect.

This is a mass search for bugs that are in the Firefox General component, are UNCO, and have not been changed for 1000 days and have an unspecified version. 

Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10, create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you still see the bug, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the resolution to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
