39800 - Pasting or typing visited link shows extraneous content

One way to reproduce this:
1) Load Japanese Netscape home page (URL above), 
2) Copy a link (e.g. Classified on top) off of US home page using Copy Link 
Location of contextual menu.
3) Highlight the URL (home.netscape.com/ja) in location field and paste (ctrl+v) 
the copied link there and check inside.

==> Instead of just displaying the copied URL, it displays redirect URL and 
">>http://excite.de.netscape....." in highlight. Clicking inside the location 
field or moving focus away makes this highlighted part disappear. This is not 
always re-producible, but fairly easy to come across.

Observed in Win 05-18-09-M16 bld.

copy/paste bug, doesn't look event related.

Bom-Shik -- I don't see a problem with this on Macintosh today.  Is it Windows-
specific?  Is it still a problem?

I think this bug isn't really a clipboard problem but a problem with the "copy 
link location" command.  Reset component.

OK< this is one of the cases mentioned in bug 40643.  Setting as duplicate of
that bug.

I haven't noticed this in Mac as this bug indicates.
This is related to auto-complete feature.
