User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; es-ES; rv:1.9a9pre) Gecko/2007100304 Minefield/3.0a9pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; es-ES; rv:1.9a9pre) Gecko/2007100304 Minefield/3.0a9pre I suggest limiting the top 10 latest search history entries in the search plugin box. Currently, if the user inputs "google 1" "google 2" "google 3" ... "google n...", the history dropdown will list all of this. As a result, it pushes the suggestions bar way below the text dropdown. Can we regulate the search history text (that starts with the same letters), to limit it to perhaps last 10 entries? Screenshot attached. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch Firefox 2.0.0.7 or minefield trunk 2. type in a series of words that start with the same letters in google search plugin window 3. click the dropdown, and notice the search history is unbounded. This repros on both 3.0 trunk and 2.0.0.7 branch too. Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7 Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; es-ES; rv:1.9a9pre) Gecko/2007100304 Minefield/3.0a9pre Actual Results: unbounded search history list Expected Results: bounded search history list

This is the same underlying problem as bug 344536, the only difference is the proposed solution. Will dupe so we can track it in one place
