repro:
open FF (patch Bug 320638 need to be applied)
Set When I open a link in a new Tab, switch to it immediately [V] (Options/tabs)
Fill the tabbar
Go to the last tab and drag a link from that page to the left of the first tab.

result:
the new page opens, but the tabbar doesn't properly scroll to the new tab, it
actually scrolls back a bit.
Oh, er... when you commented on bug 320638 I didn't realize this was a *result* of that patch, sorry. I thought you meant this was another tab drag issue that needed to be fixed. I'll take a look asap.
The scrolling works as expected for me. What I see is that the tab is added to the right, which would be a separate bug.
Oh, bug 320638 is not yet fixed.
Peter, are you still seeing this in the latest cvs with the patch from bug 320638? Just curious, since there've been some tab scroll changes lately. I can't do builds to test atm.

Yeah, same problem.

ps. I have to manually edit tabbrowser.xml so don't ask me this too often ;-)
Dave (Mossop), can you give Wayne a hint about what is going on, is it the same problem as in the TabSidebar extension ?
the patch this bug refers to is obsolete
