User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20061201 Firefox/2.0.0.4 (Ubuntu-feisty)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20061201 Firefox/2.0.0.4 (Ubuntu-feisty)
Firefox and Mozilla (Konqueror) both are unable to display the webpage for www.citicards.com. Both try to display some images but then that display is painted over by nothing. And then the whole Firefox page display window turns blank.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use Kubuntu Feisty 7.04 (same results with Kubuntu 6.10). My guess is that on most Linux distributions you should get the same bug. The windows version of Firefox *does not* have this problem.
2. Go to http://www.citicards.com
3. See the blank page.
This website can still not be opened. For a second or so, one can position the cursor into a field, but then it freezes. Firefox 3.0.11 on Ubuntu 9.04 (both 32bit and 64bit).
I have been using a work-around:
The problem is that this site seems to have major portion of it's web page in Flash and somehow that is not being displayed properly in Firefox.
Steps:
1) Right click and you will see Adobe Flash menu.
2) "Loop" will be selected. Select "Play". That will cause the loop to stop and the flash will play only once and stop.
3) After that the web page will be visible in Firefox
Cool, I was already moving towards Opera, where this page causes no problem.
Thx, :-)
Final question: how come this thing is still unconfirmed? How much more confirmed can it get ...

I'm not seeing this, whether I have javascript turned on (my usual state) or turned off (as you apparently had).
I'm running on the very latest level of changes from mozilla-central (home-built).
