Bug cloned for windows.

There are numerous printing issues when searching for a To/From location on maps.google.com:
1) All text on the printed sheets are blacked out. Unreadable. (start/end header, turn by turn directions, notes textbox)
2) The Turn by turn directions are completely missing. Only the smaller map images are present
3) A third page is printed for no reason. It's completely blank. (pg 3 of 3)
Note: The above is printed in Portrait setting. Tested on Mac and Windows.
Note 2: this prints and works as expected on Firefox 2.0.0.7. The issues listed above are not there.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. install latest minefield trunk nightly
2. go to maps.google.com, and search for a Start/End addresses
3. Print to printer
4. Verify the issues above. Lots of printer problems.
Actual Results:
Printer issues on maps.google.com. No repro on 2.0.0.7 builds.
Expected Results:
No printer issues.

So this works fine for me -- steps:
1. maps.google.com
2. click on the "jfk to 350 5th ave" sample link.
3a. File -> Print
3b. hit the Print link, then Print
When you do File -> Print, you don't get the route on the map -- I'm not sure why that is, but that's not a regression, and I think the same thing happens with other browsers.
When you hit the Print link, and then print, everything comes out ok -- 2 pages, first one has the directions and the overview/start/end on the side, second page has a bit of the footer text.
So, this could be printer or printer driver specific; is this a printer at the office? I'm testing with the printer in building S.

hi sorry, i showed this printout to vlad awhile back, and he could see the issues with the directions dissapearing on the printouts. this was done on both mac and XP, same repro steps above, against the latest minefield.
I repro'd this on both upstairs and downstairs HP printers, in building K.
I'll try to scan the printout into a pdf and upload it here for people to see.

Trying with the printer in S as well and not seeing it..

So far, marcia and I can reproduce this 100% on the bldg K printer with default settings. The network printers here (tiger.office.mozilla.org and quicksilver.office.mozilla.org) are both HP Laserjet 4350.
We've also reproduced this with today's nightly on Mac Leopard, against a local Canon printer Pixma IP 4300.
Alternately, the same testcase was run with Safari and the results were correctly displayed.

oops, my last comment should be for Bug 397428, but the results are exactly the same when using windows nightly builds also.

How did you generate those pages? Are you using the Print link, or just printing the first page directly?

I'm using the Print Link the entire time.
Be sure to click the "Show original Map view" checkbox on the print preview page. (upper right hand corner). The click the "Print" link next to it after the large map shows up.
If you still can't repro, i'll list detailed STR again.

The disappearing directions should fixed by my checkin for bug 397428. Are there any other issues still here?

For tracking purposes I'm going to close this bug having fixed issues 2 and 3 of the initial report. If there are any issues remaining, e.g. that black text mentioned in issue 1, please file a new bug.
