Seen using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.9a9pre) Gecko/2007101104 Minefield/3.0a9pre, running on Leopard. STR: 1. Select Tools | Clear Private Data from the file menu. 2. Observe that the Firefox menu only contains "Minefield" and "File" Expected: I would be able to see the entire list of File items, as I do on the 1.8 branch? Or on Tiger, when I perform the same steps, I only see Minefield without the File menu. So perhaps Leopard is adding a extra "File" menu.

Using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.9a9pre) Gecko/2007102004 Minefield/3.0a9pre, situation confirmed using Tiger 10.4.10. For 1.8 branch, I see the entire list of items as well, but the functionalities seem to be disabled, example "Close Tab" doesn't really close anything.
Hello Marcia, as i have no such old Mac to test, can you maybe give a short update? is it still a problem with actual firefox versions?

Marking WORKSFORME on Mac, I'm sure we can file a new bug if this still re-occurs.
