When I use the System|Preferences|Keyboard tool to choose a different
keyboard, such as Hebrew, Arabic, or Thai, the Control-key shortcuts
no longer work for copying, cutting, or pasting text in a text field.
We have this problem in Komodo as well, so it looks like a GTK issue
in Mozilla's input handler.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Bring up a web page, like this one
2. Set the keyboard IME to Russian, and type this, changing back to English after
3. фисву
4. Select the above word. Cut and paste using Ctrl-X and Ctrl-V. It works.
5. Switch to a different keyboard (doesn't have to be Russian), and select the
string in line 4. Try Ctrl-X. Nothing happens.
The Alt keys don't work to navigate the menu items either.
This isn't a problem in Scite, or OpenOffice.
Actual Results:
Nothing. Ctrl and alt keys are ignored.
Expected Results:
I would expect Ctrl-C to copy, regardless of the keyboard mode
I've selected.
