The entries in my Download Manager are sparse, between them are lots of empty lines. These empty lines seem to remain when sorting columns. Can the empty lines be stripped of the listing?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

I've upgraded this bug from Trivial to Major. The empty lines result in wrong ordering of the entries of downloaded files when pressing the column bars on top of the Download Manager. Only individual blocks of consecutive entries are sorted, not the blocks, separated by one or more empty lines, alltogether. Downloaded files cannot be found any more in a list with several hundred downloaded files, as is my case. Can the empty lines be removed, then this problem should be solved?
Severity: trivial → major
Summary: Lots of empty lines between entries in Download Manager → Empty lines in Download Manager lead to wrong sorting of columns
Version: unspecified → SeaMonkey 1.1 Branch
Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9 ?
Yes I can reproduce in Seamonkey 1.1.9.

In fact there are more empty lines in my Download Manager window when I open it, then filled lines.
I expect the new download manager UI in bug 472001 to fix this.
Depends on: 472001
Solved by the new UI in bug 472001 (just landed), so duping to that.
