Build Identifier: Sea Monkey 1.1.4, Firefox 2.0.0.7, Minefield 3.0.9a

When I copy text from any of the three browsers listed above, the text does not retain its formatting (bold, colors, etc.) when copied to Word 2004, TextEdit, or Appleworks 6. When I copy text from Safari or IE, the text retains its formatting. I looked extensively through the help files for Sea Monkey, FireFox, and Minefield, but could not find any assistance. I searched with Google to no avail.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Highlight colored text from any web site
2. Paste into Word 2004, Text Edit, or Appleworks 6
3.
Actual Results:  
The text pastes, but without formatting.

Expected Results:  
The text should paste with formatting.
