User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071008 Firefox/2.0.0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071008 Firefox/2.0.0.8 I was using netbank when an update of mozilla arrived. i downloaded the update and opened mozilla again and tried to go back into netbank. When attempting to log in an error message came up saying that cookies were disabled. i checked the settings and cookies were turned on so i clicked on 'ask me' for cookies. when i tried to log in it asked me to confirm yes to cookies and i did but the error of 'cookies disabled' came up again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to www.netbank.com.au 2.attempt to log in 3.'cookies' disabled error occurs Actual Results: as above Expected Results: expected result is that it does not log in, but the website tell you that cookies are disabled. logged me into my netbank account
What happens if you log in with bogus credentials? i.e. Client number: 12345678 and Password: foobazelf ?

I have a similar problem(?) with wsj.com (Wall St Journal) and other newspaper sites - I have to keep logging in every time when using Firefox 2.0.0.8 and probably 2.0.0.7 too from memory. The sites in question do not tell me that cookies are disabled however. And once I have logged in I can move about the subscription part of the site without re-logging in for every page. But once I have ended my Firefox session I have to log in to the sites again. My cookie settings are “Accept cookies from sites” “keep until I close Firefox”. In the exceptions list I have “allow” settings for wsj.com, online.wsj.com and the other unrelated sites in question. I would expect therefore that Firefox would (as it did in the past) automatically log me into these subscription controlled sites based on the cookie left in the browser because I have elected to “save my username and password” in each of the sites concerned.
