this case is usually happened when i open firefox for a long period of time (about 5 hours or more). When i open a page that has a picture and finished loading that page, when i save that picture ( right click > save Image as) , it start reloading that image again , for example , i load a page that have image a.jpg which size 1mb ,when overall page are finished downloading , i right click to save that picture and then firefox open its download manager and start downloading file a.jpg again , force me to spent time download another 1mb file.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open fire fox for a long time (5+ hours).
2.attempt to save image on the page.

Actual Results:
firefox download the image i already finished download again.

Expected Results:
download the image right away.
The same happens to me. But it happens immediately after starting FF.
Is the image cached or not (depends on the server headers).
The original file isn't available anymore unless it's stored in the cache, the image is only in the memory as decoded image.
and the other case is bug 120809
