When the themes is changed via Vied>Apply theme, a dialog appears stating that the changes will take effect next time SeaMonkey is restarted. It would make sense for there to be a "restart SeaMonkey" button here, similar to the one in the add-ons manager.

Since the button is already implemented in the add-ons manager, it should be easy enough to copy it across to this dialog.

Reproducible: Always

I'm not seeing this bug, but it might be because I have MR-Tech Toolkit installed: when I click View -> Apply Theme -> SeaMonkey Default (my preferred theme is Modern) I see a restart yes/no popup from MR-Tech Toolkit twice, once before and once after I dismiss the popup saying the new theme will only be used after the next restart.

Ed, are you still seeing this on current builds? If not, please resolve WORKSFORME.
Version: unspecified → Trunk
Summary: Theme change conformation dialog should have "Restart SeaMonkey" button → Theme change confirmation dialog (for View -> Apply theme -> ...) should have "Restart SeaMonkey" button
Clicking on View>Apply Theme>(theme name) in the latest trunk nightly only results in a dialog stating that the change will take effect when SeaMonkey is restarted.

I don't see the popup you are describing.

OK. Well, then, a possible workaround (until this bug gets fixed) is to install the MR-Tech Local Install extension.
