In a 3 column display various errors seem to result - please see forum discussion http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=3101673#3101673
In the ottawaoc.ca site if I remove the css line margin-right:-180px It works as one might expect it to - although obviously not what I want (see xxx.shtml). I am not a professional web developer so thought perhaps I was using something non-standard but I see others are having somewhat similar, although not as severe, problems. Please see the site on IE to see what it used to look like on Firefox 2.0.0.7 - now, on 2.0.0.8 the background colour is incorrect and the footer overprints the top.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.See details above - www.ottawaoc.ca on 2.0.0.8
2.
3.
Actual Results:
background colour is incorrect for columns 2 and 3 and footer overprints the top of the page
Expected Results:
background of columns 2 and 3 should be white, Footer (O'resources, O'Links etc.) should be at the bottom of the page
I have no addons, no special themes and have asked other club members who have upgraded to look at it on their computers (to be sure it was nothing in my environment). I have had comfirmation from 2 others - including a Mac user - that all was well on 2.0.0.7 but broken on 2.0.0.8. I have sent out a notice to all other club members to either not upgrade or to switch to IE or some other browser as I haven't the time to revise the site just now and hope you will be able to address the problem soon.
I have not taken the steps you request - new profile/last nights build etc. You have all that and the site is there for you to look at. 1 minute for you - an hour for me to understand and take all the steps you ask for. However, it was confirmed broken by a friend who just updated yesterday.
