Now that articles in the Administration category are visible to people not logged in, Admin articles are being indexed, and showing up in places like: - the top 10 articles list on the front page - the full article list linked on the front page <http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-wiki_rankings.php?limit=500> - search results I'm not sure if I was told to mark this as a 0.1 blocker.

OK. I propose: 1) to extend the existing Tiki core feature that sets NOINDEX META tags to apply them based on categories. 2) to add to the listing functions above, the ability to set the category from which to list from. In this case, the "Knowledge Base" category.

I have done number 2 above, on support stage. For number 1, I think it wasn't part of the original requirements and was my idea (as I was thinking about indexing by Google). It now does not seem wrong to me that admin pages are crawled by Google (as they may be relevant anyways, if the content is relevant to a users' search).

I guess this means that we could turn on the automatic top 10 list again, but we would still deal with the problem of duplicate content because of the "New to Firefox?" box. However, that box should change anyway as discussed in Toronto. Also, the All Articles link needs to change to include the category, right?
I there there might be other issues with the top ten list. For example, it is based on hits, and the historical top ten may not reflect what's important for any particular week. The link has been changed to include the category already (categId=1 which is knowledge base).
I filed bug 407742 for fixing the top ten list to just base the popularity on the most recent days.
