Details

The metrics extension includes some basic functionality tests. We need to make sure these tests are up to date, and that the extension passes them. bug 393881 proposes a patch to make it work with places, and more may be needed as testing continues. In a quick pass, the UICommandCollector test seems to be OK, but I could not get the ConfigTest to work.
