Printing with any of the following combinations of printers and drivers all produce the same size output:
- HP LaserJet 4050, PS Driver set to 300dpi or 600 dpi
- HP LaserJet 4050, PCL Driver set to 300dpi or 600 dpi
- HP C6180 inkjet, Driver set to 600dpi
However the following two combinations produce output where everything except the header and footer has increased in size by about 25%.
- HP LaserJet 4050, PS Driver set to 1200dpi
- HP C6180 inkjet, Driver set to 4800x1200pi
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open http://google.com
2. File > Print
3. Select a printer, open the advanced options and select a print resolution
4. Print
Actual Results:
Printing at 1200dpi scaled the page content (including text, tables, and images) by about 25% compared to printing at 300 or 600dpi. In both cases the header and footer which remain at the same size.
Expected Results:
Print output should always be the same size regardless of the selected resolution.
