Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071008 Firefox/2.0.0.8
Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0.0.6 (20070728), Lightning 0.7 (2007102304)

When I receive an invitation, I'll get an regular xxx.ics file as attachment. I can try to open it and get the suggestion to open it with "Thunderbird (default)". If I do so, there is no error message, showing that there maybe is a problem or it failed. But a look into the calender does not show the event.
But, if I save this received ics file, I'm able to import it into lightning via the Thunderbird menu "Calender/Import".

Isn't this feature implemented? Or is this a but?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.receive ics attachment with event
2.double click on attachment to open
3.select thunderbird to open it as default
Actual Results:
Unfortunately nothing will happen - thats the problem.

Expected Results:
The event should show up in the calender.
