On first starting Firefox I found version 2.0.0.8 was being downloaded in the background as an update! Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Fresh install of 2.0.0.9 2. Start Firefox 3. Actual Results: Via the Help menu there was a choice showing 2.0.0.8 being downloaded.
Sounds a lot like bug 376305.
