perhaps the same fate for this bug -  Bug 373895 comment 25 where david writes "things are enough different between 3.0 and 2.0 w.r.t. imap and necko and
threads that we may not be able to identify a single fix that will help with
2.0"

#11 crasher for Thunderbird 2.0.0.22. but as best I can tell, this doesn't exist on trunk - not finding in last 3 months. for 3.0b2, 3.0b3pre, 3.0b4pre, 3.0b3

I leave to a different set of eyes to determine if this crash is gone for v3.

Not seen in top of stack for 4 weeks of v3.  for top 10 frames for 2 days the best match I find is bp-20d74cc4-7701-4e2e-b2ad-d50692100404, a signature what has nothing close to the same crash rate as seen in v2.

Thunderbird 2.0 is EOLed closing this bugs as they won't be fixed. keeping them open has no value.
