403435 - Change default setting for standard URL encoding for Korean

Attachment: ko characters in address bar

Firefox's default setting of URL encoding escaped Korean characters, so korean users are hard to recognize permanent URL including Korean characters. By changing some setting, users can see korean characters in address bar.

This change doesn't seem to do what you want, at least it doesn't for both me and smontagu.

Note, on the trunk, this "just works", so I'm inclined to WORKSFORME this bug and not risk anything on the branch.

This isn't a l10n bug -- I don't think any locale ever changed a network pref. I wouldn't accept such a patch. Also, I don't think this is something for the 1.8.1 branch. On trunk we're already unescaping addresses.

It was just test checkin for escaping in nightly test of trunk. These setting might  not be not included in beta 1 build. I'll regress this check-in.

I confirmed your comment in trunk. Is it included in 1.8.1 branch?

No, I'm still working on regressions. This is nothing for stable branches.
