When you click on new window from firefox menu while all windows are minimized a new window doesn't open. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.minimize all windows in firefox
2.go to file > new window

Actual Results:  
no new window will open.

Expected Results:  
a new window should open

I reproduced this in FF2... could not reproduce with trunk ~2007-11-12

I also can reproduce this on the 1.8 branch (e.g. in Firefox 2.0.0.9),
though not on the trunk.  But even when (on the 1.8 branch) File : New
Window doesn't work, command-n works just fine.

Very strange.

(This is presumably a Mac Widgets bug, so recategorizing.)

I can reproduce this on Firefox 2.0.0.9 and 2.0.0.11 for the Mac and this bug prompted me to come here and register to report it.

It is bizarre, when all Firefox windows are minimised and you try to choose 'New Window' from the File menu, it does not create a new window. However, if you use the keyboard shortcut (CMD-N) then a new Firefox window does get created.

Why this should be, I do not know. However it would be good to get it fixed.

I have witnessed this bug on multiple machines (with different architectures) in numerous versions, including 2.0.0.12.  In my experience, the keyboard shortcut is also ignored.
