In a web page with several hours-long mp3-files to choose from, one wants to be able to listen to them directly without downloading a complete file first, or opening an Audio player by hand and pasting the URL in it.
In Seamonkey now a Downloading Window pops up when an mp3-file is clicked. In Windows a shift-right-click on a data file, for instance with extension .mp3, adds "Open with..." to the context menu. Can something similar be made for Seamonkey/Firefox so mp3-files can be played immediately?
Or, like in MIE 6, when one clicks on a mp3-link, the user canbe asked whether he wants to listen to it immediately and wants to continue surfing or not, in which case normal downloading takes place.
Or one can add in the normal Download Window next to the buttons Cancel, Pause, Launch File and Show File Location a button Launch Immediately or Launch URL. This would immediately launch the program associated with the downwloaded data file. Then Launch File has something of a serial, Launch URL something of a parallel behaviour.
Reproducible: Always
