This worked in Prism 0.8 I'm having the same trouble in my corporate environment.

Same behaviour here, which is not surprising when you know that Firefox uses it's own proxy code instead of the one provided by the host (on Win XP and OS X, at least,... I assume it allows easier portability). AFAIK, the networking code used by Gekko is availlable in XULRunner. The proxy interface code from FF could be borrowed... BTW, a patch to use the host proxy on OS X should be merged in trunk once FF3 is released. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125995

Worked fine with Prism 0.8 Corporate environment. Same problem here, after install of Prism 0.9 over Prism 0.8, but also after having removed all older Prism versions (by doing even more than https://labs.mozilla.com/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=m20gvb54pntpgibh3svkit1ad2&/topic,687.0.html) and fresh install of Prism 0.9. Unable to connect to any site needing a proxy, even if : - I have modified the webrunner-prefs.js file, and added a network.proxy.autoconfig_url and a network.proxy.type pref (as described here : http://wiki.mozilla.org/Prism#Wishlist) - I have configured all proxies in about:config Any resource on _local_ network is reachable, however.

I'm duping this now that we have a UI for proxy settings. If people are still having issues once we release a new version, please reopen or file a new bug.
