When I check for up dates to 2.0.0.4 the system finds 2.0.0.9
When I click ok to update, the system downloads 2.0.0.9 and informs me it will be installed when Thunderbird is restarted. I click on Restart, TD closes and restarts in version 2.0.0.4

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click Help
2.Click Check for updates
3.Click Download and install now
4.Click Restart now
Actual Results:  
Thunderbird 2.0.0.4 appears again instead of 2.0.0.9

Expected Results:  
Installation of TD 2.0.0.9

I started my system after an absence of several months, hence there was no updates between 2.0.0.4 and 2.0.0.9
I use the Noia 2 Extreme theme
I use Windows XP SP1
I uninstalled my Panda Firewall before performing the steps desrcibed above
I use Avira anti-virus Personal Edition Classic (because my preferred anti-virus Commodo which I use on another system is not compatible with Windows SP1)
I have repeated the above steps several times with the same result
I have not found this bug in your list of reported bugs

Using Windows Vista Home.
I have tried updating Thunderbird 2.0.0.4 and it constantly failed to perform a complete update/reinstall.  I uninstalled Thunderbird 2.0.0.4 and downloaded 2.0.0.9 and attempted a clean install, which also failed (nothing else was running, not even Firefox) with the error:

Error opening file for writing: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\mozMapi32.dll
click Retry to try again, or Cancel to stop the installation.

I CANNOT install the current version of Thunderbird!

Yes, I realized I was running the "QuickCam10.exe" process with a built in webcam on my laptop.  For nearly every Firefox/Thunderbird update, I now need to kill this process first before the update will succeed.  Understandable necessity.
