Details

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9b2pre) Gecko/2007111915 Minefield/3.0b2pre Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the History menu. Result: The "Home" item doesn't show its shortcut. This bug exists in both Firefox 2.0.0.9 and Firefox trunk.
It shows up on Windows, at least on branch. So maybe this is a Mac Widget bug rather than a Firefox bug.

Option-Home does work in FF 3.0.1 (tested on OS X 10.4.11). But not all Apple keyboards have a Home key ... so I'm not sure it's appropriate to advertise this shortcut in the History menu. (For example my MacBook Pro doesn't have a Home key.)
My MacBook Pro has one (Fn+Left).
Steven, you should also have one. The key combination will be Fn+Option+Left. In any way it would be great to have this listed. For the moment it's not used: http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/browser/base/content/browser-menubar.inc#380
> My MacBook Pro has one (Fn+Left). Oops, I also have one ... and it works. I hadn't looked closely enough (and anyway I never use the Fn key).
> In any way it would be great to have this listed. Makes sense to me ... now that I've found my MacBook Pro's Home key :-) And it seems to be a trivial change. But I probably shouldn't make the change myself (since I'm not very familiar with the area where the change needs to be made). Henrik? :-)
Firefox 3.5.2 is still missing the keyboard shortcut in the menu. For the record, this keyboard shortcut works in nightly builds of Thunderbird as well but Tb also does not list the shortcut in the menu. Seems like a minor issue but it's been a year since this was noted and has not been patched in 3.5 or the two incremental updates since.
