User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9b1) Gecko/2007110904 Firefox/3.0b1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9b1) Gecko/2007110904 Firefox/3.0b1
Example: An unsecure Frameset on Server1 (http://) contains a frame from
Server2, which is SSL-encoded with a certificate (https://).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Context menu on inner frame -> This Frame -> View Frame Info
2. The https-URL is correctly shown, but there is no tab "Security" for the inner frame in this little window, no certificate of Server2 could be retrieved.
Actual Results:
No "Security"-Tab, and no certificate.
Expected Results:
Security tab with certificate should be shown.
This Bug is reported since Firefox 2.0.0.7
It's annoying for many users, because they want to check the secure connection of the inner-frame - Site !
