User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.8
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b1) Gecko/2007110903 Firefox/3.0b1

I won't have more than 2 tabs open and Firefox 3.0b1 in regular or -safe-mode will randmoly and instantly start using up all memory and begin swapping. I was able to duplicate the error on random websites including this website (bugzilla.mozilla.org).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start in safe mode
2. Browse normally with one or two tabs, go to website with forms (e.g. like bugzilla.mozilla.org)
3. Wait
4. The browser will use up all memory in less than 5 seconds, the system becomes unresponsive until I kill firefox. Checking top or htop I can see that it is firefox-bin that is using up all the memory and not Xorg or something else.
Actual Results:
Firefox randomly and uses up all memory and beings swapping in less than 5 seconds within 5 mins of usage.

Expected Results:
Firefox should not randomly and instantly use up all memory causing the system to thrash.
How do I get debugging information with 3.0b1?
<Noah> t35t0r: sounds like that might be it, drop a comment in your bug querying whether or not this may be a result of places.sqlite vacuuming itself - and a developer should come along and tell you how to determine that

How do i determine if this is what is happening? In any case it shouldn't drag the system to a near halt because of this.
Confirming on Linux 2007112004 nightly. Must be a very recent regression within the timeframe of the last few days. Didn't see that in previous nightlies. Just starting Minefield and waiting is enough to trigger it.
