ever since i updated to firefox 2.0.09 i've not been able to use my previously installed extensions or themes. those are the things that used to make using firefox so pleasurable. i've read several renditions of the same problem from other firefox users and no one had any answers. what did you do to mess up a good thing....i will uninstall firefox until a workable version is available. in the meantime i'd appreciate it if you can let me know when a new and workable version can be accessed....thanks....former firefox lover.

1.go to tools/addons/themes
2.select use this them
3.restart firefox
Actual Results:
zilch!!!!!!!!!!!!
Expected Results:
i should have had a different, more colorful firefox browser
software should have made the installation work.

Can you provide some more details of your problem. Do you see any error messages? Do any status messages change when you select to use a theme? Do you see any error statuses against themes or extensions like "this will be installed after firefox is restarted"?

Before I updated to firefox 2.09 all of my extensions and themes were working well. Afterwards all the extensions were missing from the tool bar and whenever I tried to apply an existing theme it would sometimes go through the steps but with absolutely no results…..on some occasions it would indicate an installation error etc.. basically it doesn’t work anymore. I’ve also seen a lot of comments from others with the same problem. I’ve since uninstalled firefox but would really enjoy using it again if it works right.

If you could answer some of the questions in comment 1 then we might be able to narrow down exactly what is going on. Otherwise this bug report is just too vague to be of any use.
