Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.9b1) Gecko/2007110904 Firefox/3.0b1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.9b1) Gecko/2007110904 Firefox/3.0b1
I just installed Firefox 3b1 and started to play a little.
I noticed a menu I had never seen : "? -> For IE users" (approximate translation as I installed Firefox in french).
In the home page of this help, at the bottom, there is a link on keyborard shortcuts. When I click on this link, I get :
Erreur d'analyse XML : entité non définie
Emplacement : jar:file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Firefox%203%20Beta%201/chrome/fr.jar!/locale/browser/help/shortcuts.xhtml
Numéro de ligne 82, Colonne 10 :
<td>&goHomeCmd.label;</td>
----------------^
(hope it can help even if it is in french :)
That's a bit sad for a manual aiming at helping IE users who might not be really that happy about switching to Firefox. This might make them go back right to IE (which is the worst thing they could do of course :)
I'll try to see if there are other broken links in this dialog and I'll post them as comments here (unless you think it is better to open a new bug report)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open "? -> For IE users"
2. Go straight to the bottom of the page and click "keyboard shortcuts"
Actual Results:
XML error
Expected Results:
The appropriated help page should be displayed

Wow !
In fact, in the tree view on the left, if you select the menu "Using Firefox" (once again, approximative translation), every submenus give an error of this kind, except the "Tab browsing" sub menu.
Every pages in the "Using the download manager" give the same kind of error.
In the "Customization" page, the second link ("Complementary modules") does not work, it simply doesn' point anywhere.
Same page, in the "Complementary modules" section, the link update gives an XML error.
The whole "Options" menu gives XML errors.
Same thing for the "Popup control" menu.
Three links are broken in the tab browsing page ("Tabs", "General", "Keyboard shortcuts")
The "Mouse shortcuts" page also gives an XML error.
Same thing for the whole "Accessibility features" ans "Menus list" menus.
So it looks like the Help isn't really finished right ?
Hope... no in fact I'm sure it will be fixed before stable release :)

"This is a bug in the French localization."
Oh... so where should I report it then ?

I've already moved the bug to product "Mozilla Localizations", component "fr / French".
But this is a known problem, see bug 402951.
